1948 (1948) Japan Industrial Vehicle Association was established as June 22.

1970 (1970) and the Japan Industrial Vehicles Association was reorganized on August 8, the present.

Studies on industrial vehicles by performing various planning and promotion, establish industry standards for industrial vehicles, which contribute to the improvement of people’s lives and thereby the sound development of the industrial economy. (From the Constitution Article 3)

1. Strengthening the promotion of industry infrastructure
2. safety, promotion of social issues such as responding to environmental　safety and environmental information established a corner of the vehicle industry.
3. Promoting international exchange and international industry
4. Promotion of international standardization
5. Measures to promote the healthy development of automatic guided vehicle systems　and will introduce a market standard for automated guided vehicle systems.
6. To promote smooth operation of the ministry of special motor vehicle report
7. Promote the development of statistics for　industrial vehicle production results , domestic truck sales / export volume trends can be viewed.
